Travelling exhibitions of the Biennial of Drawing Pilsen 2007 - 2008

The John David Money Foundation has been a partner of the Biennial since 2004. Thanks to the support given by the City of Pilsen we were able to accept their invitation and organize a large exhibition in Chicago in spring 2007. The displayed works included 120 drawings by 67 visual artists, complete with works by four U.S. artists who participated in the Biennial contest in 2004 and 2006. The exhibition was held in co-operation with the Consulate-General of the Czech Republic in Chicago. The exhibition was opened by the Consul General Marek Skolil, a great honour was the speech of the President of the JDM Foundation Mr. Havel, who was delighted by the exhibition. Other speakers included John David Mooney, Barbara Johnes and Gabriela Hájková.
